Triple Isle of Man Poetry Slam Champ, Jackie Morrey-Grace is a swashbuckling trombonist, poetic performance artist and author of two IOM Arts Council funded poetic epics. These are On Ravensdale Hill and Asila’s Song. She also has two more poetry books in the pipeline, two novels awaiting surgery and half a play! In addition to this, Jackie is a professional copywriter at www.launchiom.com, aspiring actor and visual artist and a disabled rights activist via www.withoutwings.co.uk – Without Wings, the Manx Autoimmune Arthritis Trust. Though Jackie is grateful for her slam wins, her creative ‘raison d’etre’ lies in collaboration and celebrating those who inspire her through their own authenticity and artistic dedication.
